The Energy Forecasting Agency took part in a joint workshop on energy statistics

The workshop was organized by the Federal Service of State Statistics (Rosstat) and the International Energy Agency and held in Moscow from 14 to 17 February. The event was planned to consider the Russian state information systems of the energy sector, international experience in statistical studies, statistical issues related to coal, oil and gas, renewable energy and waste, as well as to electrical and thermal energy. Particular attention was paid to energy balances, the problems of energy efficiency, air emissions of fuel combustion products as well as to the prospects of cooperation between Russia and the IEA in the sphere of the energy statistics. The chief expert of the CJSC “EFA’s” power consumption department N. Antonov spoke on the topic "Issues of power consumption dynamics analysis in various sectors of the Russian economy".
